Program Overview:
Developing critical leadership skills can make the difference between success and failure in the workplace. This leadership development workshop series leading to a certificate in leadership will teach new, recently promoted and experienced managers the skills needed to perform effectively and successfully as leaders.

Self-Awareness and Reflection
The critical role of self-awareness, a framework for practicing reflective leadership, managing global and diverse teams, and being an ethical leader
Session 2
Communication and Leading Teams
Establishing trust and credibility, effective communication, active listening, assertiveness skills, and leading groups and teams
Session 3
Motivation, Managing Conflict and Stress
Motivating work teams, managing conflict, successful negotiations, navigating stress and embracing change
Session 4
Emotional Intelligence and Job Performance
Emotional Intelligence, learning from the dark side of leadership, diagnosing and addressing performance issues
